Believe it or not, Valentine's Day was established possibly as early as 500 A.D. It was a day designated to celebrate affection, and named for St. Valentine. I don't know how it was celebrated THEN, but now, of course, we associate it with hearts, flowers, cards and candy giving.
VALENTINE'S DAY is created on a white satin ball and decorated with hearts, red beads and pearls creating multiple drapes. It's a little different from many of our designs, but just as interesting.
